Beating some of the best teams in the country to finish out the season. This group also went 6-0 at the Nike Tournament of Champions in Chicago July 10-12th, won the UA Mid America Challenge in Shakopee MN July 23-25th, and then won Blue Star Nationals in Orlando July 27-29th!

This group finished 46-6 on the season and only 3 loses when had their full roster. This was a special group from start to finish and played their best basketball in July when finally fully healthy and together. Andersen to IUPUI

Posted by on May 27, 2018 in Club Announcements |

Congratulations to Natalie Andersen 6’0 G from Mukwonago on committing to play for NCAA Division 1 IUPUI from the Horizon League. Natalie is coming off a great High School season where she was Co Classic 8 Player of the Year as well as Division 1 All State.

Natalie was a huge reason why the Laker White team was one of the best teams this past summer you could find. She hit big shot after big shot, and her ability to score inside/out makes her very tough to guard as well as being 6’0. Her ball handling ability and shot creation for teammates will make her very tough at the next level as well.

We are very proud of Nat to see all her hard work play off, and will miss her playing for the Lakers but we look forward to watching her play in College!

Smith Traore Commits D1

Posted by on Sep 2, 2016 in Club Announcements |

Congratulations to Myriama Smith Traore 6’2 F from Whitewater on her commitment to NCAA D1 Marquette University from the Big East Conference. M was one of the prized forward recruits in the 2017 class in the country and committed to MU over ACC and Big Ten programs. M played for the Lakers for 4 years.

Myriama is simply a dominating force on the defense on end of the floor able to guard 3-5 positions as good as anyone you will find. She is also the most dominate rebounder I have ever seen. She can take a game over without scoring a point which makes her a very special player. What is really scary is she has the ability to post up, drive to the rack, or knock down the 3 with the best of them, but she much prefers to distribute the ball and get teammates open. Tremendous get for Marquette and look forward to watching M try to lead her team to another state championship this season.
